Welcome to Crafty Haus by Katie! By visiting our website or purchasing from our store, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Crafty Haus

Crafty Haus by Katie is a small business specializing in handmade crochet creations, dolls, plush items, and other handcrafted products.

Our website, craftyhaus.com, is operated by Crafty Haus by Katie and powered by Shopify.

2. Handmade & Made-to-Order Products

All Crafty Haus products are handmade, and select items are made to order after a purchase is placed.

Because each piece is individually crafted, slight variations in stitching, size, shape, color, and decorative details may occur. These differences are normal characteristics of handmade products and do not necessarily constitute defects.

We make every effort to accurately represent our products through photographs and descriptions. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings.

3. Order Processing & Production Times

Please allow approximately 3–5 weeks for your order to be created, prepared, and shipped, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

This timeframe is an estimate and does not include shipping transit time.

Ready-to-ship products may ship sooner. Made-to-order products require additional production time.

We will contact you if we anticipate a significant delay. If we cannot ship within the stated or agreed timeframe, we will provide any notice and cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.

4. Pricing & Payments

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.

Payment is required at checkout. Orders are subject to payment authorization and acceptance.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated and displayed during checkout.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order, we will contact you before proceeding and provide appropriate options, including a refund when required.

5. Order Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order, provided the order has not already shipped.

After 24 hours, cancellation requests may be declined because production may have begun or materials may have been purchased.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Nothing in this section limits cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind or personal preferences.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us so we can review the issue and provide an appropriate resolution.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Crafty Haus currently ships within the United States only.

Our shipping options include:

Standard Shipping: $8
Free Standard Shipping: Orders of $150 or more
Express Shipping: $15

Express shipping does not shorten the production time of made-to-order items. It applies only to the shipping service used after an order is ready.

Shipping transit estimates are separate from production times and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances.

8. Product Safety & Care

Some handmade products contain small components, including buttons, decorative attachments, or other embellishments that may present a choking hazard.

Products containing small parts are not suitable for children under 3 years old.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, age recommendations, and care instructions before purchasing or allowing children to use the items.

Unless otherwise stated, we recommend gentle spot cleaning and careful handling to preserve the appearance and condition of handmade products.

9. Custom Orders

Custom orders may be available upon request and are subject to acceptance, material availability, pricing, and production capacity.

Any special requirements, pricing, and estimated processing times should be confirmed before payment.

Once work has begun on a custom order, changes or cancellations may not be possible, except as required by applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

All original Crafty Haus branding, website text, product photographs, and original designs are owned by Crafty Haus by Katie or used with permission, except where otherwise indicated.

You may not reproduce or commercially use our original content without permission.

Third-party names, characters, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, security, or functionality.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders involving suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, or unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Crafty Haus by Katie is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
